PLEASANT HILL RESTAURANTS WITH VEGAN OPTIONS

Chipotle Mexican Grill, 60 Crescent Drive, Suite G, and 552 Contra Costa Boulevard, Suite 110: Chipotle offers vegan bowls made either with beans or with their special seasoned, crumbled tofu mixture called sofritas.

Crescent Bistro, 45 Crescent Drive, Suite 11C: This restaurant’s dinner menu lists an asparagus risotto that can be made vegan upon request.

Crumbs, 2059 Contra Costa Boulevard: This very popular breakfast and lunch restaurant has a vegan section in their menu.

Denny's, 612 Contra Costa Boulevard: Denny's restaurants are now offering a Plant-Based Pancake Slam, which includes two plant-based pancakes, seasonal fruit, and hash browns. I have heard that they don't offer vegan butter, so if that's important to you, you should take your own.

El Morocco, 2203 Morello Avenue: There is a vegan kabob and several vegan appetizers on the menu at El Morocco.

Haya Ramen, 35D Crescent Drive: This restaurant has vegan ramen on the menu.

Peet’s Coffeebar, 65 Crescent Drive, Suite A: Peet’s not only offers both oat milk and almond milk for their drinks, they offer a plant-based breakfast sandwich and a vegan muffin at this location.

Pizza My Heart, 2380 Monument Blvd.: There are lots of pizza restaurants that offer vegan cheese, but Pizza My Heart actually has vegan cheese, vegan sausage, and vegan pepperoni. They have a vegan and vegetarian pizza section on their menu, with a couple of specialty vegan pizzas listed, as well as a create-your-own pizza option. Click here for a post about Pizza My Heart.

Rooted Coffee Co., 1941 Oak Park Blvd. #10: Everything is vegan at Rooted.

Urban Plates, 60 Crescent Drive, Unit B: Urban Plates offers a Beets + Avocado Plant Based Bowl and a Chili Glazed Grilled Tofu Bowl. It’s also possible to create a vegan plate with an assortment of plant-based side dishes.

Zachary’s Chicago Pizza, 140 Crescent Drive: Zachary’s menu indicates that they offer a vegan pizza option, but they don’t say what it is – you have to inquire. They do say it’s made with their vegan wheat crust.
