Afghan Cuisine, 2995 Monument Boulevard, Suite D: This restaurant offers vegan appetizers and side dishes, as well as a vegan kabob.

 

Aung Burma, 2151 Salvio Street, Suite E: This restaurant offering Burmese cuisine has several vegan options clearly marked on the menu.

 

Aung MayLiKa, 1050 Contra Costa Boulevard: This Burmese restaurant offers numerous vegan options, all clearly marked on the menu with a “V” in a green circle.

 

Canasta, 2118 Mount Diablo Street: Ceviche Impossible is listed on the menu of this Mexican restaurant, and pastor vegan is one of the “meat” options for their salads, tacos, burritos, and locos platos. If ordering those items, however, you would still want to ask them to leave off the cheese, sour cream, or other non-vegan ingredients.

 

Chipotle Mexican Grill, 2002 Salvio Street, Suite A, and 785 Oak Grove Road, Suite E1: Chipotle offers vegan bowls made with either beans or their special seasoned, crumbled tofu mixture called sofritas.

 

Cinnaholic, 2008 Salvio Street: You may have seen Cinnaholic featured on the TV series Shark Tank a few years ago (and yes, it got the backing of one of the sharks). Everything in this wonderful cinnamon roll bakery is vegan.

 

The Corner Kitchen, 3606 Willow Pass Road: This burger restaurant has a special section on the menu listing their plant-based options.

 

Doppio Zero, 2025 Diamond Boulevard: This Italian restaurant has Pizza Vegana on the menu, as well as Ravioli Vegani, which is filled with asparagus.

Himalayan Cuisine, 2118 Willow Pass Road, Suite 400: This Nepalese and North Indian restaurant has a separate vegan section on its menu.

 

Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, 1975 Diamond Boulevard, Suite 150D: Ike’s offers a variety of vegan sandwiches, as well as some vegetarian sandwiches that can be made vegan. Be sure to let the person at the counter know that you want vegan cheese and vegan sauces on your sandwich.

 

Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop, 4436 Clayton Road and 1515 Broadway Street: Mr. Pickle’s has a sandwich listed under the Wholesome Choice section of their menu called the “Truly Vegan.”

 

Next Level Burger, 2085 Diamond Boulevard, Suite 150: This fast food restaurant inside Whole Foods is 100 percent plant-based. Burgers, shakes, and vegan chicken sandwiches are just some of the options on the menu.

 

Peet’s Coffeebar, multiple locations. Each Peet’s location in Concord appears to offer oat milk or almond milk options for their beverages, but their vegan food choices vary from place to place.

 

Pizza Twist, 4115 Concord Boulevard, Suite 70: This pizza restaurant has a whole section of the menu devoted to vegan pizzas, with vegan cheese and such toppings as vegan pepperoni and vegan chicken.

 

Pressed Juicery, 2045 Diamond Boulevard #22: The juices and the soft serve ice cream at Pressed Juicery are vegan. You should double-check about the toppings you order for your soft serve.

 

Veggie Today, 1909 Salvio Street: This vegetarian restaurant, serving Asian-style cuisine, has vegan options marked clearly on the menu. They serve soy-based “meat” in many of their dishes.
